Dr. Enrique got his PhD in Computer Science in 2003 by the Technical University of Valencia, and he is currently Associate Professor at the Computing Systems Dept. of the University of Castilla-La Mancha. He has participated in several international, national and regional research projects, as well as in industrial projects. He teachs Operating Systems and Parallel Computing, emphasizing the use of Open Source software as Linux Operating Systems, or MPI or Pthreads for dealing with parallelism. Also, Dr. Enrique Arias has a wide experience on developing Open Source Linear Algebra software. He has published more than 60 conference papers and more than 25 journal papers. He has also been supervisor of 4 PhD Thesis and 33 MSc Thesis.
